New clay work

Currently I am working in clay. This is a new way of working for me and has come about because of my contact with Michael Flaherty. Mike has been hired at Grenfell as a replacement Visual Arts technician and he has a strong background in Ceramics.

I have been taking advantage of his knowledge and have been learning a lot about clay processes and ceramic sculpture from him.

As well, I was fortunate to have received funding from Canada Youth Summer Employment and Memorial University to hire Wandai Mungoshi as a sculpture assistant for the past summer.
